Entry 13 (makeup)

School has been kinda bad lately, my grades aren't the best and I am getting frustrated with that! I hate having bad grades so I hope I get them up soon! I feel like I don't focus as much as I need too and it's dumb because I know I'm smarter than that! I can't wait to be older and get out of school. I have a career that I would like to do but in order to do that I need good grades. I can't wait for softball to start! It's going to be awesome this year! :) I will most likely start varsity so that will be fun!

Over break I went to Thanksgiving at my aunts house and then I went to my other side and had it at my other aunts house. It was a lot of fun I really like seeing all of the family. I also went to a movie on Saturday, it was Unstoppable it was really good. After that I went home and went to bed. I had a lot of sleep over break! It was crazy! Wednesday we are leaving for state dance competition, I am really nervous! This is going to be HUGE! We perform Thursday twice, we do a light routine and also a Pom routine. I am really excited to see all of the performances. I love watching hip-hop that is my favorite. I really hope we do a hip-hop routine this year, if we don't I will be pretty disappointed. Hip-hop is the most fun I gotta say! I am really looking forward to Christmas break, I am soooo excited to get my presents and everything! Hopefully I get most of the stuff, but if I don't o well I guess. My friends and I went shopping on black friday, it was so fun! I got perfume and a shirt from Victoria's Secret and then I got some other things at Gordmans. It wasn't much stuff, but Christmas is coming up so its all good. :) Christmas is my second favorite holiday, I like Thanksgiving the best because you get a ton of food and you get to see all of the family.

Yes I think school should require at least some hours of community service because they will learn to keep things clean and be respectful. Some students really need to do this because they either do bad things, don't care about anything so it would be good for some of us to do these things. Its not like you do it for no reason and no get anything out of it. Its good for people to do community work makes them realize it feels good to do things for other people. If they refuse to do it then don't make them.. thats their fault. This could be good on your college application. I want to do things that benefit me in getting into college. So yes I think there should be some community work hours for schools. I mean not a whole- lot but at least some. It is good for people to realize how little things help their community and how good it makes them feel after doing it. It can be fun if you make it that way.

"I think a true friend is someone who..." is always there for you when they need you. A true friend won't judge you for anything and respect your decisions even if they don't approve. If you need help on something they shouldn't tell you your retarded or dumb for not getting it. They should always be there when you need someone to talk to or need advice. They shouldn't care if your rich or poor as long as your you it shouldn't matter. True friends will always be there through thick and thin. You should be able to tell a true friend everything.

Entry 12, Nov. 4

Starting next week I have about 4 sports going on. I have Basketball, Dance, Volleyball, and softball! I love all of them, but it is going to be very complicated. I am actually excited for Basketball, I haven't been out in 2 years, but I'm pretty good I guess. During the week I have basketball practice, three times a week I have dance, two days a week volleyball and once a week softball!:( I hope I have some time to hangout with my friends. Hopefully I keep up with school work and everything I really don't want my grades to drop. Keeping up with school is important because then I can stay out for all of my activities.

I would want to visit/explore Colorado because it looks really pretty and there are many things to do there. I have some family members that live in Colorado so that would be cool to go see them. I would probably take one of my close friends and family just so it would be more fun with more people. It would be fun to do a lot of things together. Go hiking, fishing, just hangout, it would be a blast. I really want to go on a family vacation again and hopefully we go sometime soon. I love hanging out and spending time with my family. :) Family is the most important thing to me!

Our volleyball team is doing pretty good this year, but everyone either has walking phenomena or mono. It is crazy! I really don't want to get sick,but I have a feeling I'm going to. We have a game tonight at east buck and I'm really excited. I'm really excited for halloween for some reason this year.. usually Rachel has a Halloween party and they are super fun!:) There was a lot of drama at homecoming and still is my friend and I aren't talking anymore. I think it is stupid, but I I'll live. I can't wait until this summer so I can go through drivers ed and get my school permit. I'm sick of riding the bus to school and I really want to get my car. I really want my grades to go up they are to low for my potential. I decided I'm doing basketball this year. :)

If I had magical powers that would be amazing because then I could make anything appear. It would be awesome to wake up and all of a sudden have powers. Life would be a lot easier. Sometimes they would probably get uncontrollable and that would be bad. I think they would be awesome and I could make things appear when I want and get what I want. I probably wouldn't want them for too long because I wouldn't want to get lazy and depend on powers for things. I would want to know what people are thinking, that would be awesome! I really wish people could do that. I bet no one ever gets magical powers because it is really unrealistic. I'm sure not many people think about having magical powers or even expect to get them.

Entry 8, Sep. 30

We got 1st place for our float! That was awesome. The dance teem, cheerleaders and football boys had to perform to Rockin Robin. The dancers had to wear cheerleading uniforms and some people didn't like that at all. It was a really cute performance and I also did powderpuff football. Football was so fun, but also really confusing, Jacob Etten was our coach. We lost 16 to 0 that sucked, it was fun anyway. We have a volleyball game tonight against Springville at home, I'm really excited.

I think people would react scared if this were to happen in our community. I would be scared and wouldn't know what to expect. I don't think this would ever happen. It would be weird if this ever did happen because noting like this has ever happened before. I don't really like this story I think it is dumb and boring. It also sounds kinda cheesy. I wish we didn't have to read this because I don't like it. The movie preview was weird and I don't really think it looks that good. I want to watch it tho, it might be better than the story. I just want to get this book over with!

Write about your favorite childhood memory of playing in the snow. If you've never been around snow, write about what you dream it'd be like.

I remember playing in the snow during recess and my friends and I would make chairs and snow men, it was so much fun when I was younger. I remember when I went sledding down the hill at paris and that was fun too. There are a lot of memories in the snow, but now that I'm older I hate it. I don't really ever play in it anymore, only when my sisters want me to play with them. I take them sledding sometimes. Snow memories are not so fun sometimes like when you would get hit with a snow ball in the face and it would be really cold. Also not being able to feel your fingers, or when you forgot your snow pants or boots and you wouldn't be able to go outside for recess.

My book is The Last Song and its a romance story by Nicholas Sparks and she has to stay with her dad all summer. She didn't want to stay with him because he left her mom, brother and herself. She got caught steeling something in New York where her mom lives. She meets this guy that she thinks is cute. She ends up falling in love with him. Thats all the father I have gotten, but it is good so far.

I don't think think high schools should adopt a dress code because our own clothing gives us personality and a way to express what fashion we like. The colors we wear in a way represents our mood. In other ways we just wear it because we like it. I think its weird when everyone wears the same clothes and wearing that everyday, it would just get boring. I don't understand why some schools have a dress code. I hope we never get a dress code here at Central City, that would suck. I love wearing my own clothes and I couldn't imagine wearing the same color and same type of clothing everyday. I feel bad for whoever has to do that. It would be easier tho because then you wouldn't have to worry about finding an outfit everyday. It is hard sometimes to pick out what we wear. I like how our school we can pretty much wear whatever we want, but there're some rules.

Laurel would be a quick little zombie! She would be attacking everyone and then run away really fast and she would probably be laughing! :) Ian I can imagine him being a slow one running away in a funny way and making weird noises and having a crazy look on his face. Josh I can just see standing there and not doing anything for an attack he would have an I don't even care look on his face. He would probably just move his arms around in one spot. I imagine zombies really slow and creepy looking. They would have dirty, nasty clothing and their faces all dirty and gross. It would be crazy if we had a zombie attack! I wouldn't know what to do. That would be pretty awesome tho if we had a zombie attack! :)

Entry 3, Sept. 7

I hate being sick!! It seems like everyone is sick now. Today we had a volleyball game about an hour away and it ended up after we get there that it was on a different day! We were mad, but we did get mcdonnalds! :) School is pretty boring and I hate homework. It seems like I'm busy all the time I either have volleyball or dance and also homework to do. Its tough but I get through it. It seems like some things are just falling apart. I hate crying over him and hopefully I'm done. I made varsity volleyball! That was pretty exciting! :) I'm so excited for homecoming! I want to get this really pretty dress and get dressed up its going to be fun! Good music, friends, and a good time! I really need that. I can't wait to not be sick anymore.

If they decided to have us go to high school for five years i think people would get bored with it and not want to put themselves out there to learn. School is long enough already in my opinion. Eight hour days, 5 days a week, that would be crazy to do that another year after senior year. There are some reasons that it would be good, like we would get more education and extra time to learn the things we didn't learn yet. I just don't think five years would be that great because it would just be boring. It would get old and I don't think it would make me want to be there. I would think teachers would get tired of us and want to start teaching other students and working with them more. Some parents would be happy because then their kids wouldn't go off to college and leave them, they would have another year with them. Others would probably think this is ridiculous because their child has the education he/she needs. Over all five years wouldn't be fun and not a good option.

Some goals I have for the year are to have fun and get excellent grades! In sports I really want to win and be aggressive!! Our team really needs some help.. we really need to step it up. We perform a dance routine at the football game on Friday.:) I am sooo excited and nervous. It will be fun! I hate getting up at 4:30 in the morning and dancing and then school and then volleyball. I love volleyball its one of my favorite sports. I am really looking forward to my first year of high school! I was sorta nervous at first, but its really not that scary people are nice. I really want this to be a good year and have a lot of friends. Having older friends is a plus because they can drive! :) I can't wait until I am 16 so I can have a license. I just hope some people in my class grow up a bit this year. I have a good feeling about this year and then again I have a bad one. It's a scary thought only having 4 years left of school and its just going to go by so fast! I really want to make the best of it and have many memories and good times. I know this year won't be perfect and there will be fights but thats just life i guess and even tho I hate it, it happens. I'm really excited to have more options this year and in the years coming. I am in a lot of things and I like being busy and staying active! Sports are my life and I really enjoy them. I will be practicing softball this winter so I can be great this summer! Life is pretty good right now and I'm really enjoying it. I really don't want homework ever! It sucks and it takes too long. Summer was pretty boring, but I went to St. Louis and that was really fun! I got to be with my family and it was a good time! :)
